Instructions for publication :

1- Ibn Rushd Journal of Studies publishes original scientific research by researchers and author’s in the social and human sciences, written in Arabic or English only.

2- The research is printed on one side of the paper using double space and footnotes (at least 2.5 cm on each side), and the pages must be numbered.

3- The Research must not have been published or submitted for publication anywhere else.

4- Research is subject to refereeing according to established scientific principles, and if modifications to the research are requested, it is returned to the researcher to make the required modifications.

5- The journal is not committed to publishing the research except after making the required amendments, or the editorial board undertakes to make some of the required amendments in accordance with the publishing policy .

6- Research must be typed using Word, according to the form found in the following publishing instructions:

* The main titles of the research must be formatted as ( Arial/Bold/14) for Arabic Language, (Times New Roman/Bold/14) for English Language.

* The sub-titles of the research must be formatted as ( Arial/Bold/12).

* The body of the research must be formatted as (Arial/12).

* The number of research words should not exceed 5,000 words, with a maximum of 15 A4 pages, with a distance between lines of 1.5.

* The research sent to the editor-in-chief of the journal via email, noting that no paper copies of the research will be received.

* The research must include the research title, the name of the researcher or researchers, the abstract, keywords, introduction, research methodology, results, discussion, footnotes - if any - and references.

7- The abstract must not exceed 150 words, and contain the goal of the study, the method, results and recommendations.

8- Tables and figures are numbered respectively according to their occurrence in the research.

9- When the research is approved for publication, the ownership rights are transferred to the journal.

10- The sources and references are written in the margin at the end of the research, and the sources and references are indicated in the body of the research by sequential numbers placed in parentheses, and this is as follows:

• The name of the author/authors is written as he or she are, and if there are more than two, the first name is written and the rest (others), year of publication, name of reference, publisher, edition, place of publication, and page are indicated.

• Translated books, as previously mentioned, with the translator mentioned immediately after the name of the reference.

• Journals: Name of the author: Title of the research or study, name of the journal, issue, volume, year, page.

• Doctoral or master’s theses: author’s name, thesis title, university, year, page.

• Books in English or other languages, name of the author, year of publication, name of the reference, publisher, edition, place of publication, page (written in English or the language of the reference).

• Journals in English or other languages, name of author, title of research or study, name of volume, issue, volume, year, page (in English or language of the Journal).

• Conferences: name of the presenter of the paper or report, title of the paper or report, name of the conference, place of the conference, year, page.

• Newspapers: the name of the writer of the article or news, its title, the name of the newspaper, the place of publication, the issue, and the date.

• Websites: name of the website, title of the article or news, name of the writer, link in English, date of publication, time.

• The research language may be English or any other living language, provided that an abstract is submitted to the journal in Arabic.

11- If the research is published, no other party may republish it, publish a summary of it, or publish a translation of it in any medium (book, newspaper, or other periodical) without with written approval from the Journal’s Editorial Board .

12- The researcher will be informed of the publication date within a period of no less than one month from the date of receipt of the research.

13- The Journal reserves the right of keeping the research, whether published or not.

14- The Journal reserves the right to publish the research in accordance with the Journal’s editorial policy .

15- The researcher pays the fees if the research is approved for publication .
